March 19 – French Clothing Day (Students may where any clothing they might have that has French phrases printed on them)
March 19 – Healthy Hunger Special Lunch Day
March 19 – Grade Four Share for their Rube Goldberg projects – Gr. 4 parents invited March 20 – NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS (PD DAY)
LUNCHROOM EXPECTATIONS Teachers have had discussions with their class about expectations when eating at school. If you could reinforce these expectations, we would really appreciate it.
Below are the expected behaviours that were talked about in class:
• Eating with their class in the classroom is a privilege, not a right...if you are not able to follow expectations and show expected behaviours, you will be given an alternate location to eat that is Mme Brinson’s choice.
• You are only responsible for yourself – if you do the right thing, others will follow
• Your desk should be clear of work and school items before lunch starts
• If you spill, you need to clean it up. There are little brooms and wet paper towels or clothes available to help with this.
• If you drop garbage, you need to clean it up. What you bring to school goes home with you in your lunch kit at the end of the day
• Desks should be cleaned off before going outside.
• When you get up to leave the room, you need to push your chair in.
• Restaurant rules apply: Sit in the spot you are asked to sit and stay in this seat for the whole eating time; sit quietly while you eat and do not yell or argue; do not run around the class or climb on furniture; listen to the adults that speak to you; when going outside, carefully walk rather than run; sitting where you are asked to sit
Aujourd'hui, nous avons tissé et we had deux collations et we did le son on et we danced avec Ajay. -Asher
Aujourd'hui, on a fait Sound Kreations et on a fait mathématiques et today is Sarah's last day at this school et we made Sarah some cards et Mallory est l'étoile du jour et on a mangé la collations. -Sammy
Aujourd'hui, on a fait Sound Kreations et the grade fivers came et Mallory est l'etoile du jour. -Marlo
Aujourd'hui, on a fait gymnase with Ajay et was Sarah's last day et on a fait la pomme et aujourd'hui c'est Mallory's special helper day. -Alexis
