Day 98 - 98e jour d'école

Message To Parents:

There is NO SCHOOL on February 13 and 14 (Teachers' Convention) and February 17 (Family Day).  School resumes on Tuesday, February 18.

Next Library Book Exchange is Monday, February 24.
Today was a VERY busy and fun-filled day at school!  Patrick was our helper of the day and he picked the number 15.  We did calendar and then we went outside for "les courses en canot" ("Canoe Races" on toboggans) as a Winter Carnaval activity.  Then, we welcomed a special guest to our class (Bonhomme Carnaval) and drank yummy hot chocolate and ate delicious croissants.  Next, we worked on a class banner for Carnaval.  After lunch, we distributed our Valentine's Day cards and went outside to celebrate the end of Carnaval à Varsity Acres with a school parade.  Oh what fun!

Message To Parents: FOOD BANK DONATIONS NEEDED PLEASE We are collecting non-perishable food items for the Mayor's Food Bank Drive until December 19.    Items can include:   P asta sauce, granola bars, juice boxes, powdered milk, stage three baby food, peanut butter, pasta, rice, soup cans or packages, cereal, oatmeal, canned tuna, canned chicken, canned beans, canned fruit, pancake/bread/biscuit mixes, gluten-free pasta, etc.   Thank you for your support!
