Message To Parents:

 Tomorrow is our Library Book Exchange.  Please return all library books.

 Tomorrow is Healthy Hunger Special Lunch.  Please send a recess snack to school.

 For our Remembrance Day Assembly, students who are cadets, scouts, beavers, sparks, brownies or guides are welcome to wear their uniform and participate in the procession into the gym.

Also if you know of any soldiers/veterans who might be attending we would love to know in advance in order to reserve a seat for them!

Next Library Book Exchange is Wednesday, November 20.
Aujourd'hui:
-Madame Frances came to our class. -Addy
-Madame Frances came and we played Bingo and we also did gymnase and we played Cheese Ball and we also did les pommes et today it was Will special helper day and also we did the violet book. -Sammy
-we did gymnase et une recess et une collation. -Halle
-we had one snack and we had indoor recess and we readed some books. -Alexis
-we did calendrier. -Mallory
-we did calendrier and Madame Frances came and we read a book with Madame Frances and we played Bingo and had gymnase and musique. -Jack
-in gymnase we learned Hush Puppy. -Marlo
-we did Hush Puppy with M. Trevor and we also played fun games. -Maddie
-c'est Will l'étoile du jour and we had gymnase. -Hannah
-we did calendrier and Madame Francs came and we played Bingo with her and then we played Hush Puppy with M. Trevor. -Patrick

Message To Parents: Further to my email sent earlier this week, I have made a change.   Students may come to school dressed in their costume on October 31st and may wear their costume for the entire school day if they wish.   Students will need to remove their costume if it is cumbersome and/or not safe for running during our gym period. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or concerns. Day 1 - Premier jour d'école

First Day of School - Welcome to Grade One Today, we read a book called First Day Jitters and talked about being nervous and excited at the same time in new and unfamiliar situations.  We then toured the school including the new areas of the Learning Commons and also visited the other grade one classes.  Please ask your child about the Zen Room in the Learning Commons!  We  discussed school and class rules, decorated and coloured a shoe for our spot in the coatroom, played a name game in French called: Bonjour, je m'appelle and enjoyed the sunshine outdoors for physical education.  We had a great first day of grade one and can't wait for day two!
