Day 36 - 36e jour d'école

Message To Parents:
Tonight is the school's Halloween dance from 6:30-8:30 pm.  The cost is $5 per person.

 Aujourd'hui:
-it was Arya M.'s special helper day. -Arya M.
-we had a lockdown and we talked about what we would do if there was a real lockdown. -Asher
-we learned about what to do if there is a fire drill and a lockdown at the same time. -Sammy
-we practiced how to do a lockdown. -Halle
-we did Blogger and we did a lockdown and there's a school dance (tonight) and we writed in our journals (about) les couleurs primaires. -Haddon
-we had two snacks and one recess. -Aria B.
-it was a half-day and we wrote in our journals and it was Arya M.'s special helper day and we had one recess and two snacks. -Jack
-we did calendrier. -Mallory
-we did la lecture. -Hannah
-we had one recess, one snack, also it was Arya M.'s special day, also we wrote in our journals and we met Constable Mark and we have the Halloween dance (tonight). -Maddie
-aujourd'hui c'est Arya M.'s étoile du jour. -Addy
-we wrote in our journals about les trois couleurs primaires. -Patrick 
-it was Arya M.'s special helper day and we also did calendrier and the Halloween dance is today. -Hannah-Mae

 All students in room 1 did an exceptional job with our first lockdown practice!  They reacted quickly and quietly and followed proper procedures.  Madame Emily was SO, SO proud of them!  Bravo les amis!!!!

Message To Parents: Further to my email sent earlier this week, I have made a change.   Students may come to school dressed in their costume on October 31st and may wear their costume for the entire school day if they wish.   Students will need to remove their costume if it is cumbersome and/or not safe for running during our gym period. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or concerns.
