Day 2 - 2e jour d'école

-
Today we:
-went to recess -Sammy
-had snack and lunch -Harley
-did a graph about how many boys and girls (are in our class) -Hannah-Mae
-shared Addy's brown bag -Addy
-cutted people out (for our math graph) -Alexis
-played the Bonjour game and drew ourselves in a pomme and cut it out -Sammy
-had lunch and snack and two recesses -Hannah-Mae
-did calendrier -Maddox
-did our pommes and guessed which colours and numbers -Alexis

We started our day off with calendar and learned two songs about the days of the week and the months of the year in French.  We played the Bonjour, je m'appelle game to learn each others' names and drew and coloured ourselves in an apple.  After lunch, we watched MINI TFO and did a math graph to see how many boys and how many girls are in our class.  Then, we opened Addy's bag and learned new things about her.  We also had centers and played together.

Please join us this Friday for our first assembly of the year at 8:45 am in the school gym.

Message To Parents: Just a reminder that November's Parent/Teacher Conferences for Kindergarten to Grade 5 are next   THURSDAY, November 21 from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm .  There is   no school for students on Thursday . On Wednesday, November 20, our Kindergarten students have Student/Involved Conferences so their is   no classes for Kindergarten on Wednesday, November 20 .    Grades 1-5 have regular school on Wednesday .   Friday is a Professional Learning Day for teachers so there is no school for students on this day.
